Dumplings with cheese and fat sour cream, this is one of the most famous desert throughout the country. It is prepared with cheese, eggs and flour, then fried in oil and served with your favourite jam.

Ingredients:
250g of sweet cow cheese, 1 cup of flour, 2 eggs, 1 baking powder (10g), lemon zest from 1 lemon, a pinch of salt and 4-5 cups of oil. Fat sour cream and fruit jam, to taste for serving.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cow cheese, then add the eggs one by one, the salt and the lemon zest. If necessary, add more flour to 2hardens the dough. Next knead the resulting dough by hand.
2. Make a roll out of the dough and cut into 4-5 equal pieces, then shape these pieces into balls. Further flatten the balls, and with your thumb make a hole in the middle, set aside until the small pieces of dough are all shaped. If it is easier for you can just shape the dough like full balls, without the inner hole.
3. Deep fry the dumplings in very hot oil, on all sides, once ready set aside on absorbent paper. In Bukovina they are specifically served with a lot of sour cream according to taste. In Bukovina they are specifically served with a lot of fat sour cream on top.
